The program entails minimum total of twenty hours of engagement with each student. This comprises fifteen hours of group sessions conducted virtually in a classroom setting and five hours of personalized one-on-one virtual sessions dedicated to custom college planning.
Participation in this program requires a fee of $325.00. The breakdown of this fee is as follows: a $25.00 administrative fee and a $75.00 fee for each course you enroll in. To be considered for selection, you must commit to attending all four classes offered.
Please note that the program has a maximum capacity of thirty-five students, so make sure to secure your spot promptly. Our college prep mentor to student ratio is 5:20.
Additionally, there is an opportunity for a scholarship of $100.00. If you are interested in applying for the scholarship, you can indicate your interest while completing the application for the program.
Note: Students must have a computer with internet access and the ability to access our virtual classroom to participate. They must also be in a enviorment that allows them to learn with their cameras on from the start to the beginning of class. There are no refunds and although this is a rare occasion students can be dismissed if they are disruptive to the class.
The goal is to prepare your scholar for college, obtain admittance to college with scholarships, build their network, and increase their self-advocacy skills which will empower their journey to graduate from college and become gainfully employed.
