Employment Advantage Summer Registration 2024
The Employment Advantage Summer Camp is brought to you by the staff from Teachwell Solutions - Supported Transitions. We invite South Dakota secondary students with disabilities (ages 16-21) to attend. 

This camp meets June 17-27 (Mondays-Thursdays) from 9am - 12pm at Avera McKennan in Sioux Falls.   Students will be expected to follow the hospital's dress code for safety purposes (business casual, no sandals or shorts).  During this two-week camp, students will learn the keys to successful employment.

Schedule:
Week 1 (6/17 - 6/20) Preparing for work (classroom setting with guest speakers and small group activities); Safety awareness for independent living, commuting to work, and at the worksite
Week 2 (6/24 - 6/27) Job Shadows and Transportation practice (may include walking, Lyft, bus, etc. to community job sites)
