Volunteer Application 

 Volunteers are one of our most important assets. Without them, the society could not offer all the programs that are so important to our community and our mission. Volunteers can spend as much time as they like helping the organization in a wide variety of ways. A few examples of volunteer work are: mansion hosts, working with our archival collections, assisting with events and fundraising, gardening, participating in decorating for Christmas at the Seiberling, and cleaning the mansion or Elliott House. The list is actually endless!

Our volunteers are often the face of the Howard County Historical Society, representing our organization in both public and professional settings.  Our volunteers are committed and professional.

The Seiberling Mansion and Howard County Museum are open Tuesday through Sunday, 1 - 4 PM.  Our hosts welcome guests for a self-guided tour, providing some basic information about the mansion, and manage the gift shop and cash stand. Are you interested in the museum host/ Docent role? If so, what days would you prefer? *
