RSVP: Special Delivery at the Capitol for I LOVE MY PUBLIC SCHOOLS Week
WHEN: Friday, Feb. 16, 2018. 10:30 am: meet on Capitol steps (State Street entrance)

WHERE: Wisconsin State Capitol, Madison

WHAT: Special delivery of Valentine's sharing reasons WHY WE LOVE OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS with our lawmakers.

This is a non-partisan, pro-public day of action. Our goal is to "spread the love" from our communities into the statehouse and let decision-makers know we love our public schools.

We will meet on the Capitol steps with our Valentine's, then deliver one from each of our communities as a group to the Governor's office. We will then split up to make special deliveries to our own legislators.

Those who wish to join for lunch can meet up again at the Great Dane after you make your deliveries.

WHAT TO BRING:
Cards or Posters/Hearts signed by members of your group/schools/community. Gather signatures with reasons why people love their public schools on large cards at schools and school board meetings throughout the week to deliver on Friday.
Get creative! Feel free to bring flowers, cookies, balloons, other treats from your community...however you feel moved to spread the love and send the message: WE LOVE OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS!

CAN'T ATTEND IN PERSON? ATTEND VIRTUALLY!
Tweet @ your elected officials with photos of your cards!
Send them by snail mail!
Share on facebook or other social media!
Use #ILoveMyPublicSchool and #GoPublic to spread the love and we will amplify your actions!

All Wisconsin Public Education Network partners and supporters of Wisconsin public schools are invited to attend! New faces always welcome!
