Role: NOBE National Conference Chair (NNC Chair)
Description: The NNC Chair serves in a leadership capacity on the NOBE Mines Executive Board and is the head of the NNC Committee. The NNC Chair serves as a liaison between NOBE Mines and the NOBE National Executive Board (NEB) while planning the NNC, scheduled for March 27-30, 2025. With the support of the NOBE Mines Board, the NNC Chair will serve as the primary point of contact for communications before and during the NNC and work within the NOBE Mines chapter to organize, plan, and manage conference logistics and activities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Attend monthly NEB meetings (Third Sunday of the month at 8pm MST)
- Attend weekly board meetings and report NNC planning status to the board
- Regularly communicate with NEB members and NOBE Mines members
- Organize and lead meetings within the NNC committee
- Guide the completion of tasks to meet deadlines
- Work with NOBE Mines members to plan all logistics related to the NNC (hotels, lodging, transportation, food, guest speakers, activities, etc.)
- Communicate with international chapter executive boards
- Support team development and day-of event coordination
Opportunities:

- Build relationships with NOBE Chapters throughout North America
- Develop strong leadership and professional skills to include on resume
- Support the development of NOBE Mines as a new student organization at Mines
- Work collaboratively with Mines leadership and build relationships throughout campus and with university partners
