Gowanus Tree Network Application
Gowanus neighbors working together to build a network of tree stewards.

The Gowanus Tree Network will establish contact between select blocks in Gowanus and provide them with training and resources to steward their street trees. Select blocks will have representatives enroll in an NYC Trees certification course, host stewardship events, and will be provided with planting materials. Blocks will also enter the Greenest Block in Brooklyn competition hosted by Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, with guidance from horticulture professionals.
