Note that the Masai Mara Management has banned the use of private 2WD vehicles. Only 4WD vehicles specifically customized for game viewing are permitted within the Reserve. Also note that we cannot guarantee the availability of open-sided Land Cruisers, as we only have 3 in our fleet. However, your hotel or camp may have them available. If you strongly prefer an open-sided vehicle, we recommend inquiring directly with your accommodation. Safari vehicle comes with experienced local Masai driver-guide, and drinking water.
