Vice President of Campaigns/First Vice President – The Vice President shall lead the organization in the organization’s campaign strategy and perform the duties and responsibilities of the President in their absence or incapacity. In addition, this Vice President shall perform such duties as assigned by the President or the Bylaws of this organization.

Legal Director – The Legal Director shall be a licensed, practicing attorney in the State of Ohio, shall dispense legal advice pertinent to the operation of this organization at the request of either the President or a simple majority vote of the Executive Committee. The Legal Director is a non-voting member of the Executive Committee and may be a Regular Member or Trustee.

Parliamentarian – The Parliamentarian shall assist the President in implementing and maintaining Parliamentary procedure and shall have a copy of Robert’s Rules Revised of Order on hand at all meetings. The Parliamentarian is a non-voting member of the Executive Committee.

Political Director – The Political Director shall coordinate and facilitate activities with various campaigns; shall conduct and coordinate lobbying efforts of the Northeast Ohio Young Black Democrats to public officials; and shall complete a list of campaign-related events, a copy of which is provided to the Secretary. The Political Director is a voting member of the Executive Committee.

Events Coordinator – The Events Coordinator shall assist the President in the organization of planned events for the Northeast Ohio Young Black Democrats General Body and Executive Committee.

Director of Finance – The Director of Finance shall oversee, coordinate, and facilitate all fundraising activities and events.

Advisory Trustee – The Advisory Trustee shall serve as the Chair of Trustees and act as the chief advisor to the Northeast Ohio Young Black Democrats General Body and Executive Committee.

Director of Community Outreach & Engagement – The Director of Community Outreach & Engagement shall establish and strengthen private sector relations and shall coordinate activities and programs to maximize community involvement and shall also cultivate relations with the churches across Northeast Ohio. The Trustee of Outreach shall also coordinate activities aimed at promoting minority issues.

Policy Director – The Policy Director shall be responsible for presenting the updated interests, policies, and issues of the members of the Northeast Ohio Young Black Democrats; shall schedule speakers for general meetings, and shall coordinate political and educational forums.
