Problem statement: Our current policy forbids leaving projects in the makerspace, but people do it anyway. Because there's no framework for doing this they almost never leave contact information or a deadline for when they'll pick it up, and sometimes the projects are left for a week or more. To put some structure around this we are proposing a "parking pass" system where members could find an out of the way corner or shelf to leave their projects for up to 48 hours if the proper pass is attached.

Should we allow projects to be left in the space with a 48 hour parking pass?
