Women's Bouldering Festival 2019 Mentor Application Form
Becoming a WBF Mentor:
If you have a deep passion for climbing and our community, become a mentor at the Women’s Bouldering Festival in Fontainebleau, 28-29. September 2019.

The WBF aims to bridge the mentorship gap between the increasing numbers of climbers new to the outdoors and those with a wealth of rock experience.

Your role:
As a mentor, you will be assigned a small group of less experienced boulderers (fewer than five). Your role will be to share your experience and your love for climbing. You will offer advice on safety issues such as bouldering mat placement and spotting, as well as technique and beta tips.

You don’t need to be a pro athlete or an instructor. We believe in growth through supporting others! You will be assigned a group based on your own climbing level.

Mentor support:
You will receive a free ticket for the Women’s Bouldering Festival, including two nights of camping, a goody bag, a t-shirt, morning coffee and Saturday night social.

An experienced member of WBF Staff will provide you with morning briefings, as well as further advice as and when needed.

At this moment we cannot confirm if access to additional workshops (yoga, parkour, climbing masterclasses) will also be free or discounted.

It is possible that transportation will be offered as well but for now please apply only if you have a car, or will share a car with another participant.

Mentor requirements:
We require all mentors to have at least 5 years outdoor bouldering experience (if you hold appropriate qualifications, this requirement can be waived).

If after completing the form below you aren’t sure of your applying, drop a line at womensbouldering@gmail.com.
