H-E-B 2024 Strong Texas Libraries TLA Annual Conference Stipend

Thanks to the generous support of H-E-B, the Texas Library Association is pleased to offer 50 stipends of $750 each to defray the cost of travel to attend the 2025 TLA Annual Conference in Dallas, TX. Travel stipend funds will be sent to recipients after the conference closes.

Recipients will also receive a coupon code to cover their TLA Annual Conference registration, not including any additional ticketed event fees.

Stipends will be awarded to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis; only one grant per individual applicant will be awarded. Our goal is to use these funds to support TLA members from all types of libraries working in small institutions with very limited budgets, and those that have been impacted by budget cuts, downsizing and layoffs.

Applications will open October 28 and will close when the maximum number (50) of eligible applications have been received. Stipend recipients will start to be notified by November 13, with conference registration codes sent following receipt of the signed agreement form, and travel funds distributed after conference attendance in April 2025.
