Concerned Health Professionals of Ireland (CHPI)

Having considered the evidence relating to the risks and harms of fracking, we are convinced that any introduction of fracking in Ireland or Northern Ireland would result in serious health problems to individuals and communities, irrespective of the best attempts at regulation. Apart from these health issues, the fracking industry is having serious negative effects on the environment and climate change. Many of these effects are irreversible because of the nature of the industrial processes used.

We are determined to prevent the start of this damaging industry in Ireland and Northern Ireland and ask your help to do so. We have prepared letters to the Administrations in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
