Deserving graduates of Old Rochester Regional High School will, upon successful completion of the first semester of the freshman year of college, receive a monetary stipend. The number of stipends awarded and the amount of each stipend may vary, taking into consideration the assets available from this year’s Road Race.
Criteria:
*Graduate of ORR in 2020, 2021 or 2022 and you have not received a Mattapoisett Road Race stipend.
*Accepted to an accredited post-secondary school.
*Participant in 4 or more seasons of high school sports, town recreation or individual sports.
*Participant as a community volunteer.
*Volunteer in the 2022 Mattapoisett Road Race.
*Please write an essay on how running has impacted your life and follow it up with a paragraph or two to bring your high school and post high school experiences to life. Please include your academic plans along with any sports history, extra curricular activities, community service or part time jobs you may have experienced.
