No Stress Studio - is a low stakes and safe environment for BSR members to try out repertoire, prepare for an audition, or simply sing for the sake of singing! Regardless of why you want to come, we're happy to have you here! 

Our first No Stress Studio of 2026 will be:

Saturday, February 28th 

1:00pm - 3:00pm 

Somerville Music Spaces 

Local collaborative pianist and former BSR Artistic Director, Brendon Shapiro, will be available to accompany you. 

Fee: $15, paid via Invoice which will be sent to you about one week before the 28th. 

This No Stress Studio will have two. one hour time blocks. Each block will have 10 slots for singers to sing whatever they like! Below you will be asked to give preference on which block you would like to sing in, if any. You are welcome to attend the whole block or just stay for your assigned block. Please note, we cannot guarantee that you will receive your preferred time block but we will make every effort to accommodate your requests. 

You will be asked what piece you would like to sing - however it is ok if you're not entirely sure when you submit the form! If you'd like to send the music ahead of time, please email a pdf copy to Ryan Mewhorter (ryan@bostonsingersresource.org) 

No Dress Code required - come in for whatever purposes serve your needs!
