What is the Online Auction? The Online Auction is filled with an array of items donated by local businesses and families including items for your home, dining gift certificates, travel, kids' camps, activities and family fun. There is also a great array of events for kids, families and parents. In previous years, this event successfully raised over $100K for our schools, and we count on this revenue to assist us in achieving our $1.5M annual fundraising goal.

  • Join the Solicitation Team:
Time frame:  Mid-December through early March. We provide you with contacts to local businesses to request great donations for our catalog. This is done through email outreach (we provide the email for you to send!) and/or phone calls and visits to the business if needed.  You choose the number of accounts you would like. The success of our online auction depends on generous donations and we need a strong team to make it happen.

  • Join the Catalog Team:
Time frame: Mid-February to early March. Calling all copywriters and editors! Dive into this fantastic gig from home, flexing your skills on auction package descriptions. 

  • Be a Shadow Coordinator for Parent Parties: 
Time frame: Mid-January to early March. We're on the lookout for a few fun and organized individuals to shadow this year's Party Coordinators so that you are ready to step into a lead role in 2026. The position includes assisting in the organization and coordination of these amazing and fun parties for parents and kids. Contact us at info@SPARKschools.org to learn more.

  • Donate an Item: 
Got a special item to donate like a vacation home, gift certificates, special experiences or sports tickets? We'd be thrilled to feature them in our Online Auction. Let us know about available dates, any restrictions, or other essential details. 

All of these opportunities provide a way to make a meaningful impact without having to make a long-term volunteer commitment and are flexible enough to fit into your schedule. Join us in making a meaningful impact by becoming a "Host with the Most"! It's simple—plan a fun gathering with friends, family, or community members, and help us raise crucial funds for SPARK. Your party can be anything you imagine: a cozy dinner, game night, or a larger celebration. Together, let’s celebrate community, make memories, and support SPARK!
