UCWLC 2022: Providing Healing, Promoting Hope - Call for Program Proposal
The United Collegiate Women’s Leadership Conference is an interactive transformational experience where women from all walks of life come together to understand the authentic leader they have within themselves, while preparing them to tackle critical issues facing their campus and larger communities. Women often are socialized to believe that exerting themselves means they are bossy, or that being quiet means they are shy. Issues of systemic misogyny creates a dynamic where women often are left competing against one another, or believing that one woman’s shine can diminish another’s. The truth is that united women are more likely to be successful. Women should not have to choose which of their identities they are going to lead with in their personal and professional lives. At UCWLC, we believe it’s all for one, and one for all. UCWLC creates a space that is high-energy, empowering and designed to create a transformational experience.

According to National Women’s History Alliance the 2022 Women's History theme, “Providing Healing, Promoting Hope,” is both a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history.

UCWLC is currently accepting workshop proposals for our 2022 conference. Each workshop will be scheduled to run for between 60 to 75 minutes. Additionally, the target population will be undergraduate students and higher education professionals (e.g. student life, resident directors, deans, etc.). Please submit abstract proposals (250-300 words) using the form below.

Given the high volume of proposals we receive, we will notify presenters if their workshop proposal was accepted by Friday, February 25, 2022. Workshop presenters who are chosen, are responsible for their travel and lodging expenses. You may contact the selection committee at ADD EMAIL ADDRESS if you have any questions.
