Form to signup to volunteer at the Starlight Casino in West Edmonton Mall. All volunteers must be over 18 year of age. If you are unable to make your shift for any reason please contact vicepresident@terwillegar.org.
You can review the AGLC information about casinos here:https://aglc.ca/sites/aglc.ca/files/2021-03/2021-03-16-Casino_Licensee_Terms_and_Conditions_and_Operating_Guidelines-5481.pdf
Casino Dates are Saturday July 27 and Sunday July 28
Volunteer Information:
Casino Track is the AGLC Computer System. Volunteers will be using this system throughout the two day event. Computer experience is not necessary and training will be provided for this system.
Upon arriving at the casino, each volunteer will be signed in and issued a name tag to
wear. The name tag will include the volunteer’s first name and the position they are
working.
Volunteers may work as many shifts as they choose; however, each volunteer may only work in one position during the casino event.
Volunteers may dress from semi-casual to business casual (no leggings). Please be advised that casinos are air-conditioned; for your comfort you may want to layer your clothing.
It is very important for all volunteers to arrive for their shift on time. If a volunteer is unable to arrive for their shift at the scheduled time, it is advised that they inform their casino coordinator as soon as possible. This will give them time to find a replacement.
Volunteers may NOT gamble on casino premises during their two day casino event.
Volunteers may NOT consume alcohol or drugs during their shift.
A restaurant is available for volunteers to have meals. Volunteers do not pay for food with their own money. Volunteers order their meal and then sign for it.
The casino is protected by security systems including guards, cameras and alarms.
Please contact Kathleen with any questions at vicepresident@terwillegar.org.
