Candidates are accepted from post high school.  Couples that are married are highly encouraged to attend the weekend with their spouse.  A young adult who has gone thru T.E.C. will only be accepted as a candidate if we do not have a waiting list.  We encourage them to apply for a team position.  The cost of the weekend is $70 (make checks payable to Encounter).  Full or partial scholarships are available based on need; arrangements for scholarships must be made prior to the weekend.  Candidates are expected to be present the entire weekend (Friday late morning to Sunday early evening).
 
I recognize that churches and denominations have varied views on who may partake of communion.  I understand that communion will be served at the Encounter weekend and also understand that it is my decision whether or not to partake.
