Since January 2015, a Community Recreation Network has formed to help groups that offer recreation programs or special events come together to learn, share, and improve upon our collective ability to bring recreation to residents of Edmonton.
You have been invited because the Community Recreation Network is an open group of recreation organizations, businesses or individuals who share a broad definition of recreation, inclusive of:- Sports and physical fitness activities (competitive and recreational; individual and team)- Cultural activities (heritage, culture, history, faith, etc.)- Arts (visual arts, dance, theatre, music, etc. of all skill levels)- Leisure activities (walking groups, knitting groups, dog walking groups, etc.)As organizations that offers programs south of the river and west of Calgary Trail, we have formed 4 southwest geographic networks with over 180 organizations! There are also 12 other networks for other geographic areas of the city.~ ~ ~ ~ ~
