Initial Resident Application

Haven House is the site of a new Christian Study Center to establish a Faithful Christian Presence in the Stockton University community. Please fill out this Interest Form to be considered for a place to live at Haven House and to become a participant in the Resident Fellows Program, a non-formal, live-learn discipleship house experience. 

Residents at Haven House are typically enrolled at Stockton University. However, if you are an enrolled student at any college or technical training program, an employed young adult, or seeking ministry training through our Campus Ministry Internship program, we also invite you to apply to live at Haven House. 

Your application will be considered whether you plan to stay for a semester or a customized month-to-month bedroom lease and Resident Fellows program.

GUIDE TO COMPLETING THE RESIDENT APPLICATION PROCESS

The application process has four parts (with an Addendum for Staff-in-Training), starting with this Basic Information and Interest Form:

  1. Initial Resident Application: This form includes Basic Personal Contact Information, Personal Spiritual Testimony, and Reference(s). Choose to apply as a basic Resident, or a Resident Fellow.
  2. Resident Follow-Up Application: This form includes your Education, Work, Living Considerations, Skills, Expectations, and Vision. 
  3. Parents/Guardians, Emergency, and Links to additional information.Alumni, and, if desired,  to discuss expectations, background, guidelines, move-in, and the lease. Let’s get to know each other to be sure Haven House is a “good fit” for you.
  4. Meet & Greet at Haven House with You, your Parent(s) and/or mentor (if desired), Haven House Directors, and Resident Admission Advisors. This will be a mealtime or dessert with a tour of Haven House if needed or requested. 
  5. Resident Admission Advisors: This group advises the Directors regarding your admission as a Resident, or Resident Fellow.
  6. Bedroom Lease Agreement This final step includes all the legal and financial details, including your Move-in Date, Room Assignment, Vehicle, Parking, Driver’s License, Security Deposit, and rent, including any confirmed Discount.
  7. Resident Fellows Program Application:  Those who apply will receive this form with Mentor Contact Details, for Staff-in-Training & Campus Ministry Interns
