"Enterprise Startup" is rarely spoken of as a proper category of startup. We think of startups from different geographies as unique beasts. Likewise there are web startups, biotech, cleantech, etc but rarely do we hear about Enterprise Startups.
Part of that is because so many of the factors that once made enterprise startups unique are now more and more consumer like (delivery, UX, branding), but it is also partially due to some willful withholding of the nitty gritty of the enterprise world.
I hope to have enough responses from this survey in order to demystify what it means to be an enterprise startup and who should, and should not, make the plunge.
For our purposes we are using a very broad definition of "enterprise" which includes SMBs and more general B2B activities. All fields except for your name and the name of a past or current startup are optional, but please answer as many as possible.
