You are invited to participate in a research study conducted by Dr Jason C. S. Pun of the Department of Physics of the University of Hong Kong. The purpose of the study is to study how light pollution impacts astronomy activities (such as observations or photography) in Hong Kong. You will need to be over 12 years old and a resident of Hong Kong to complete the survey. You will be invited to fill out an online survey to provide your opinion on the nature and impact of light pollution. The survey would only take about 5 minutes to complete, and you can choose to terminate the survey at any time without negative consequences. You may choose to provide your name and email address in Question 34 for our follow-up actions in the future (if any). I would like to stress that all information collected will remain strictly confidential. Individual details will not be disclosed or identifiable from this survey. Any personal identifiers will be kept 3 years after publication of first paper. If you have any questions about the research, please feel free to contact Dr So Chu Wing (email@example.com) or Dr Jason C. S. Pun (firstname.lastname@example.org). If you have questions about your rights as a research participant, please contact the Human Research Ethics Committee, HKU (2241-5267).
