Запрошуємо на подію до Міжнародного дня корінних народів!
9 серпня у Національному ботанічному саду імені М. М. Гришка відбудеться фестиваль, присвячений Міжнародному дню корінних народів. Із 15:00 до 20:00 на території Саду витких рослин триватиме особлива подія, що об’єднає культуру, творчість, пам’ять і силу традицій.
У програмі — панельна дискусія «Збереження пам’яті: спадок корінних народів України», концерт традиційної кримськотатарської музики і танців, вікторина та мовний воркшоп.
Протягом усього часу працюватимуть:
• зона майстеркласів;
• дитяча зона;
• ярмарок майстрів;
• фудкорт із національними стравами.
Окрема локація — «Листи до вільного Криму», де всі охочі зможуть написати слова підтримки політв’язням, які зараз перебувають у російському ув’язненні.
У ці дні, коли Київ і вся Україна знову зазнають болю від обстрілів, ми не говоримо про свято. Ми говоримо про спільну пам’ять і взаємну підтримку. Про коріння, яке дає силу. Про традиції, які стають щитом. Про культуру, що живе всупереч усьому.
Запрошуємо вас приєднатися. Прийти, щоб бути разом. Щоб пам’ятати, підтримати і зберегти.

We would like to cordially invite you to an event dedicated to the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples!
On August 9, the M. M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden will host a festival dedicated to the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples. From 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Garden of Climbing Plants will host a special event that will bring together culture, creativity, memory, and the power of traditions.
The program includes a panel discussion Preserving Memory: The Heritage of the Indigenous Peoples of Ukraine, a concert of traditional Crimean Tatar music and dance, a quiz, and a language workshop.
The following activities will be available during the event:
• a workshop area;
• a children's area;
• a craft fair;
• a food court with national dishes.
The Letters to a Free Crimea initiative will have a separate location where visitors can write messages of support for political prisoners currently being held in Russian prisons.
At a time when Kyiv and the rest of Ukraine are once again suffering from shelling, we are not celebrating a holiday. We focus on shared memories and mutual support. We are talking about roots that provide strength. About traditions that act as a shield. We are honoring the culture that lives on despite everything.
