This is an application for placement for the 2018-2019 school year.

All honors and AP level courses require students to be self-directed with an ability and willingness to work independently on assignments and projects. Group cooperation, interaction and application of critical thinking skills are also expected of the honor student. Additional challenging reading assignments and written projects appropriate to the course will be required throughout the year. Personal motivation, intellectual curiosity, critical questioning and active participation in class activities are characteristics of the students who should consider requesting the Social Studies Honors Program.
