Ginger’s Revenge – Asheville, NC

Ginger’s Revenge is a craft brewery in Asheville, NC, specializing in the production of alcoholic ginger beer. Now in our third year of operations, we are on track to produce 1500 barrels in 2019 and expect that number to increase steadily over the next several years.

As such, we are looking for a growth-minded individual to join our production team. We envision this as an entry-level position with growth opportunities to learn additional critical professional brewing tasks. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with excellent work ethic, high attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, a desire to learn, and a positive attitude. This position could be part-time or full-time depending on the candidate.

At a minimum, our ideal candidate will have at least one year professional beverage production experience OR 2-4 years experience as a hobbyist. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a sincere enthusiasm for craft beer and a desire to start a long-term career in this fast-growing industry.

Preferred skills include:

- Mechanical/Electrical maintenance experience
- Basic laboratory experience

Key responsibilities include:

- Ingredient processing
- Packaging operations (kegging and bottling)
- Create and maintain physical and digital records of brewery operations
- Cleaning of kegs and tanks
- Maintaining a clean and organized workplace
- Following company safety standards
- Other tasks as needed, including warehousing, attending events, and plant maintenance
- Quality/Laboratory Testing
- Working two weekend days per month and flexibility in shift start times

Physical requirements:

- Ability to stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours)
- Ability to lift heavy objects (lifting up to 55 pounds, safely maneuvering up to 165 pounds)
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
