Please fill out the below forms so a GSoC admin can assist with requesting a business letter invitation for you. We process these weekly. It usually will take 5-7 days for the visa invitation to be created by Google. We suggest completing this ASAP as many embassies take 2-3+ months to issue a visa.
If you are in India please be aware that current visa wait times are 20 months so it is unlikely you will be able to get a visa unless you meet the special requirements for an expedited visa - be sure to check on those before applying and submitting your payment for the visa. Google can not alter language in the visa invitations to help you obtain the expedited visa. You can reach out to Google if you have questions about the letter that we can provide.
We suggest you do your research to determine if it is possible for you to have a visa issued to you by September 22nd. If it is not likely you'll have the visa in your hands by September 22nd please do not request the business visa invitation as your org should select another person to attend to be sure they can purchase their flights, etc in a timely manner.
Remember: If you are visiting from one of these
40 countries and are only going to be in the U.S. for a maximum of 90 days and are traveling for business, you can likely fill out the
ESTA form online to get an Electronic Entry permit to the United States which is a much faster and cheaper option than getting a visa. We cannot give you advice on your visa requirements but we suggest you look into this and see if it meets your needs.
