ICS 400  Classes Scheduled for 2024
The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) is offering ICS-400, Advanced Incident Command System. This two day course will expand upon information covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300 courses. ICS-400 emphasizes large-scale organizational development, roles and relationships of the command and general staff, and planning, operational, logistical, and fiscal considerations related to large and complex incident and event management.

DATES:        April 16-17
                     June 25-26
                     October 22-23
                     December 17-18

TIMES:         0800 - 1700 hours

LOCATION: Frank Hotchkins Memorial Training Center (FHMTC) Sim Lab

COST:           There is no cost for this course

DRESS:         Work Uniform or Business Casual

Members will be selected using the Seniority and Rank process. If selected, members will be notified via email with  registration link to to TEEX will then be provided for registration into the class. Members who are not accepted into the class will remain on the waiting list and contacted if space becomes available.

Members are reminded that the following pre-requisites are mandatory and will be required to register for the class:
  
IS-100c, FEMA Introduction to the Incident Command System
IS 200c, FEMA Incident Command System for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
IS 700d, Introduction to the National Incident Management Systems (NIMS)
IS 800d, National Response Framework, An Introduction
ICS 300 (2019 or later), Intermediate Incident Command Systems


Members are invited to attend on a volunteer, off-duty basis. There are no V-Hours available. Members need to attend both days.
