Participation Waiver and Release of Liability

I understand that I am voluntarily participating in the Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC. 95-Hour Children's Yoga Teacher Training Program, including but not limited to lectures, workshops, discussions, demonstrations, physical yoga practices, partner activities, teaching practicums, online learning, and related educational activities.

I acknowledge that participation in yoga, movement activities, teaching demonstrations, and practicum experiences involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, emotional discomfort, property damage, or other unforeseen circumstances. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the training program.

I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in the training and understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician or other qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition that may affect my participation. I agree to monitor my own condition throughout the training and to discontinue participation and seek appropriate medical assistance if necessary.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the training program, I, for myself and my heirs, executors, administrators, and legal representatives, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC., its owners, instructors, guest presenters, contractors, employees, volunteers, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in the training program, including claims arising from negligence to the fullest extent permitted by law.

I understand that portions of the training may involve teaching demonstrations, peer teaching, observation, and practicum experiences. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in these activities.

I understand that completion of this training does not guarantee employment, independent contractor opportunities, registration with any credentialing organization, or financial success as a yoga teacher.

I acknowledge that portions of the training may be delivered virtually through online platforms. Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC. is not responsible for interruptions resulting from internet connectivity, technology failures, software issues, or participant equipment problems.

I authorize Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC. and its representatives to obtain emergency medical treatment on my behalf should an emergency arise and I am unable to provide consent. I understand that I am solely responsible for any costs associated with such treatment.

I understand that all training materials, manuals, videos, recordings, presentations, handouts, worksheets, and related content are the intellectual property of Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC. and are provided solely for my personal educational use. I agree not to reproduce, distribute, share, record, upload, publish, sell, or otherwise disseminate any training materials without prior written permission from Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC.

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

I have carefully read this Agreement, fully understand its contents, and understand that by signing I am giving up certain legal rights. I acknowledge that I am signing this Agreement voluntarily and intend for it to be a complete and unconditional release of liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Media, Recording, and Promotional Release

As a condition of participation in the Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC. 95-Hour Children's Yoga Teacher Training Program, participants acknowledge and agree that live sessions, workshops, guest expert presentations, practicum activities, and other training experiences may be photographed, audio recorded, video recorded, or captured through screenshots.

I understand that these recordings and images may be used by Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC. for educational, training, promotional, marketing, social media, website, print, digital, and archival purposes.

I grant Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC., its owners, instructors, contractors, guest presenters, employees, and representatives the right to use, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, display, and otherwise use my image, likeness, voice, name, comments, and participation as captured in photographs, recordings, screenshots, and other media created during the training program without compensation or further approval.

I understand that recordings may be incorporated into current and future Yogees Yoga 4 Kids training programs, continuing education offerings, online learning libraries, educational resources, marketing materials, and promotional content.

I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or the specific use of such media and release Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC. from any claims arising from the use of such recordings, photographs, or media.

To protect participant privacy and the intellectual property of Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC., training materials and recordings are provided for personal educational use only and may not be shared, distributed, reproduced, published, or used to create or distribute derivative training materials without prior written permission.

Participation in the 95-Hour Children's Yoga Teacher Training Program constitutes acceptance of these terms and is a requirement for enrollment and continued participation in the program.

The Yogees Yoga 4 Kids 95-Hour Children's Yoga Teacher Training is designed to provide a supportive, collaborative, and professional learning environment rooted in ethical instruction, child-centered teaching, inclusive practices, and developmentally appropriate yoga education.

By participating in this program, I agree to the following expectations and standards.

I agree to contribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all participants, instructors, guest experts, and staff.

I will:

Treat all participants with kindness, professionalism, and respect.

Respect diverse backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and identities.

Participate in discussions and activities in a constructive and supportive manner.

Provide feedback professionally and receive feedback with openness and respect.

Communicate honestly and professionally in all training-related interactions.

Refrain from disruptive, discriminatory, threatening, intimidating, or inappropriate behavior.

Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC. reserves the right to remove a participant from the program, without refund, for behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory, harassing, or inconsistent with the values and expectations of the training.

Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC. is committed to maintaining a learning environment free from harassment, bullying, discrimination, intimidation, or retaliation.

Harassment of any kind, whether verbal, physical, written, visual, electronic, or online, will not be tolerated.

Participants who experience or observe inappropriate conduct are encouraged to report concerns to Yogees Yoga 4 Kids leadership.

Children's yoga teachers do not work in isolation and are often part of a larger support network that may include parents, guardians, teachers, counselors, therapists, administrators, and community partners.

Participants agree to:

Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families, educators, fellow trainees, instructors, and other professionals.

Use clear, respectful, and collaborative communication.

Maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.

Respect the expertise and roles of parents, educators, specialists, and other professionals.

Support the well-being, safety, and success of children through ethical and collaborative relationships.

Participants understand that this training is educational in nature and does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, or clinical credentials.

Participants agree to:

Teach only within the scope of their training and experience.

Refrain from providing medical, psychological, therapeutic, diagnostic, or legal advice unless separately qualified and authorized to do so.

Refer concerns to qualified professionals when appropriate.

Use observational rather than diagnostic language when discussing children's experiences or behaviors.

Enrollment in the training program does not guarantee certification.

To receive certification, participants must successfully complete all program requirements, which may include:

Required training hours and attendance

Coursework and assignments

Reflections and assessments

Self-study activities

Observations

Teaching practicum experiences and documentation

Ongoing adherence to professional and ethical standards

Participants understand that practicum experiences are completed as teachers-in-training and not as certified children's yoga teachers.

Participants agree to accurately represent their training status and credentials at all times.

Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC. reserves the right to determine whether completion requirements have been satisfactorily met and to withhold certification if requirements are not completed.

Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC. is a Registered Children's Yoga School (RCYS) with Yoga Alliance.

Successful completion of this training may be applied toward Yoga Alliance's Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT®) credential, subject to Yoga Alliance's current eligibility requirements, policies, fees, and application procedures.

Participants are responsible for independently reviewing and satisfying all Yoga Alliance requirements. Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC. cannot guarantee acceptance, registration, or credentialing by Yoga Alliance or any other professional registry or credentialing organization.

Participants may represent themselves as having completed the Yogees Yoga 4 Kids 95-Hour Children's Yoga Teacher Training only after all program requirements have been successfully completed and certification has been awarded.

Participants acknowledge that the safety and well-being of children are foundational principles of children's yoga instruction.

Participants agree to:

Prioritize the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of children.

Use developmentally appropriate language, activities, and expectations.

Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with children and families.

Obtain appropriate permissions and consents when teaching children.

Comply with applicable laws, regulations, organizational policies, school policies, and child protection requirements.

Follow mandatory reporting requirements when applicable.

Exercise professional judgment and seek additional guidance when concerns fall outside their scope of practice.

Completion of this training does not replace background checks, licensing requirements, employer-specific qualifications, insurance requirements, or other legal requirements related to working with children.

I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to comply with the expectations outlined in this Participant Agreement. I understand that failure to comply with these standards may result in corrective action, additional requirements, suspension, removal from the program, or withholding of certification at the discretion of Yogees Yoga 4 Kids, LLC.
