Teaching Artist in Residency Program
THE POINT CDC is interested in partnering with high-quality teaching artists to provide opportunities in our programs both at our main site in Hunts Point and as part of our in-school programming taking place throughout New York City.
THE POINT's Teaching Artist in Residence Program (TAiR) is open to educators in areas as varied as Social Circus, Visual Arts, Digital Media, Black and White Photography, Music Production and Ensemble, Dance, Video Game Design, Fitness, Graphic Design, Muraling, Mosaics, Bookmaking, Creative Writing, Filmmaking, Coding and more. Teaching artists in other areas not mentioned are also encouraged to apply.

Applying at this time does not guarantee acceptance into the program. THE POINT reserves the right to choose the proposal that best fits the needs of our programs.

*****Note: If you wish to apply to become a volunteer or non-paid teaching artist assistant, you DO NOT need to fill out this form. We ask that you send an email to info@thepoint.org with the heading "Volunteer/Teaching Assistant" and we will contact you at our earliest convenience. *****

Thank you.
