The University of Alabama in Huntsville Request for Admissions Deferment
First-time freshmen students who are degree-seeking may request a deferment to an upcoming term at The University of Alabama in Huntsville by filling out this form.

Requests to defer an offer of admission will be reviewed by a case-by-case basis.  An admissions deferment may be granted for up to two semesters.   An approved deferment request means that the offer of admission to the University along with any scholarship offers will be honored.

Please note:  Students who request to defer cannot under any circumstances enroll or take courses at any other institution.  If a student does enroll elsewhere, their deferment is canceled and their student type will change which may cause a change to their financial aid or student status.
