What is Content Locking?

Content locking is the concept of locking a specific piece of content, whether it is a video, article, recipe, guide, store, social post, an ebook, or even a part or a website /mobile app  video, and is only unlocked when a user takes a  specific action.     The action required depends on the offer and can be anything from filling a form, installing an app, watching a video, or signing up for a service.

Content locking is beneficial to the user, the publisher and the advertiser!   The user gets access to the content for free (which they may have otherwise had to pay for), the publisher earns revenue from the action taken, and the advertiser gets a new user interested in their product or service!
