Do you have good English language skills, responsibility and experience as volunteer in high-level events? Are you passionate about science, education, and sustainable development? Would you like to meet in person leading climate scientists and delegates, and support the international process of advancing climate science at the global level?
The Faculty of Economics at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and the FEB Foundation partner the host institution Ministry of the Environment and Water of Bulgaria and are looking for enthusiasts like you to join our dedicated team of experienced professionals, scientists, and educators as volunteers.
We are going to participate as an official partner in the 61st session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) - an event with participation by scientists from all over the world, which will take place in 2024 in Bulgaria, hosted by the Ministry of Environment and Water.
Side events for students, representatives of civil society organizations, and businesses are also taking place alongside the main conference. The main and side events will span over a period from 23 July to 4 August.
We are looking for volunteers to help the team, in 3 shifts. The possible days are described in the form, you can choose days and times that are convenient for you. Preference is given to volunteers who are able to participate for more days during the indicated period. At least one foreign language is required.
Trainings for volunteers and meetings with IPCC scientists are foreseen.
