As all of our music is Christian worship songs and hymns. Would this type of music be something you are comfortable performing? How would you process this experience with your personal faith? *
Can you commit to attending at least 90% of choir rehearsals on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 PM? (no need to mention planned absences here) *
Can you commit to attending at least 90% of Sunday morning services for the choir, 10:00 AM rehearsal and 11:00 AM service? *

SPRING:

Holy Week: Thursday, Friday, and Easter Sunday services, as needed. Weekday service needs may change depending on the year.

Last Sunday in June - Freedom Sunday

Please list any conflicts you have or schedules when you expect you will be available. Special Note: Due West choir takes a break during the month of July. Approximately one Sunday a month, choir will not be required for Sunday services though rehearsals may occur that week. Praise Team/Front Line Singers may still be scheduled. Schedules vary and are confirmed monthly. *
If this is your first time applying, please SEND a short video or series of short videos showcasing your vocal ability to csalazar@duewest.org. Ideally, this should be an accompanied piece (or a piece with a track) that will let us see and hear your tone quality, example(s) of your range, and expression. Excerpts of songs are fine. This does not need to be professional recording. Phone recordings are encouraged! If we do not receive video, we cannot consider your application for the scholarship.
