On March 19, the Hoboken City Council will decide the fate of the Garage B Redevelopment Ordinance. For the block bounded by First, Second, Hudson and River Streets, this measure would allow for 25-story buildings in a zoning district currently limiting heights to 5 stories. The redevelopment plan allows for the rebuilding of the massive 810-car parking garage that has come to the end of its useful life, as well as the construction of workforce and affordable housing.
