Dear Representative/Senator X,

We are constituents in your district that are also public sector employees who were failed by our elected leaders when the legislature did not pass the close out supplemental budget before the end of the formal session on November 15, 2023.

Many of us have been waiting since summer, or longer, for the legislature to finally fund our contracts so we can see the raises that were fairly negotiated and are much-needed in order to address the rising costs of living in one of the most expensive states in the union.

As our elected representative, we want to know what you are planning to do to make sure our contracts are funded before the Thanksgiving holiday. Please reply to this email so that we can all see what actions you plan to take on our behalf.
