Digital Drawing 101 Application
Digital Drawing 101 will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 7:30 PM from Oct 4rd to November 22nd in the Lighthouse Teen Center at the Homewood-Brushton YMCA.  Transportation home is available to youth living in 15208, 15206, and 15221. Classes take place from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. Dinner is provided at 5:30pm between lab and class time.

Students will explore three different digital art styles: Pen & Ink, Watercolor and Oil Pastel.  The course will be taught by professional comic book creator and teaching artist N@ Sampson and expert teaching artist, K.Bey. Students will have access to their own digital drawing tablets and laptops and will learn skills that can be applied to illustration, visual storytelling, anime, animation, graphic design and more.

Please complete the application below in its entirety. If we receive more than 8 applicants, students will be chosen based on thoughtful responses below and their commitment to attending all 20 classes.
