InnEdCO 2023 - 2024 Ambassador Application

Thank you for expressing interest in becoming an InnEdCO Ambassador! This program is open to all educators supporting students learning (teachers, instructional coaches, school leaders, etc.).

Please answer the following questions using any combination of written response, video response, and/or other artifacts (websites, pictures, links, Google Docs, Power Point, PDF, Canva Poster, WeVideo, etc - be as creative as you like!). We'll be reviewing all application submissions and answers based on the following criteria - Online Presence, Evidence of Innovation, and Alignment to InnEdCO's Mission and Vision.

1 - Ambassadors may frequently represent InnEdCO in online spaces and social media. Please enter your Twitter account, professional website, and links to any other online professional accounts you use (ex. Linked In, blog, etc.)

2 - Why are you hoping to represent InnEdCO as an ambassador?

3 - Imagine you are recruiting an educator to be a part of the InnEdCO community. How would you explain why InnEdCO exists and why its work matters?

4 - Why do you think innovative practices in education matters? What draws you to this work?

5 - Please provide an example of your work as it relates to innovative practices in education. This may take the form of a blog post, student work, and/or other artifacts you think are relevant.

6 - What unique strength do you look forward to bringing to the InnEdCO community?

7 - What information not already covered would you like to share?

Once you have answered these questions (in a technology tool of your choice), fill out the information below and either upload or link to your application artifact below.

The application window will be open from Monday, August 1st, 2023 through Thursday, August 31st, 2023. We'll announce our InnEdCO 2023 Ambassadors via Social Media sometime in early September of 2023! From there, our 2023 group of Ambassadors will be invited into their Community of Practice and collaborate throughout the 2023 - 2024 School year beginning in late September 2023 (we'll have regular meetings with all Ambassadors throughout the year as well as be invited to help on various committees based on their task preferences)!

What questions do you have about being an ambassador?

For the 2023 - 2024 InnEdCO year, Ambassadors have the chance to organize into groups to help support many of InnEdCO's endeavors. Check any you'd be interested in helping:

Conference (Help InnEdCO plan / support our Regional Experience at the ISTELive 24 Denver Conference for next June)

Events (Help InnEdCO with volunteering and programming support at our locally hosted Events throughout the school year)

Learning (Help InnEdCO with developing our online learning platform for continuing education)

Marketing / Communications (Help InnEdCO provide content to our social media channels or help create content like storytelling videos, graphics, etc.)

Outreach (Help InnEdCO with redeveloping Communities, formally known as Chapters)
