Hi my name is Joe and I'm making a parkour spot mobile app (android only sorry) for my university
The app will feature a detailed map, with parkour spots placed by users, who will be able to leave information such as:
- Location of the parkour spot by clicking on the map
- title / name
- Difficulty 1 to 3
- Rating 1 to 5
- any pictures or videos from the spot that will have there own likes and comments system
- time it takes to complete the activity
- security response time
- description / notes
Every user will be able to leave reviews on already existing spots.
Each spot will show the average from all reviews and each individual review.
Importantly, the app will create a route that will include spots of a specified difficulty, in a order trying to maximise time at spots and minimise walking, so that you can plan in advance, say, an hour of parkour activity in a neighbourhood or a town.
I am also thinking of adding a social aspect to it: you can have friends on the app and see what spots they have been visiting recently, and look at their reviews.
The aim is to launch the app with spots in Bristol, and extend it to other cities, so you can do parkour when you travel.
Any information would be really helpful and all the questions are optional,
Thanks.
