Cincinnati Public Radio is welcoming a new reporter later this year, and we need your help.

With a generous grant from the Adam R. Scripps Foundation, we’re launching an innovative three-year fellowship program for an early career journalist. Over their time with us, we’ll teach them the skills they need to succeed in this field, and they’ll play an integral role in our newsroom to bring you more coverage of the greater Cincinnati area.

Cincinnati’s Ohio suburbs (Butler, Warren and Clermont counties)

Cincinnati’s Indiana neighbors (Dearborn and Ohio counties)

Northern Kentucky (Kenton, Boone and Campbell counties)

Economic justice: reporting on the growing wealth divide, including barriers to health care, affordable housing, the criminal justice system, homelessness and the nonprofit ecosystem

Courts and criminal justice: Not crime news, but rather coverage of the legal system, police, sheriffs, judicial transparency and jails. This beat will examine how the legal system interacts with people's lives.
