EmoryUnite! Fall 2018 Survey
This short survey is designed to help us understand your thoughts on how we as a union of graduate workers and non-tenure track faculty can make Emory a more just and fair workplace. We believe in the need for a union because many colleges and universities rely on the labor of graduate assistants and adjunct faculty to teach classes, support research projects, and further the work of tenured and tenure-track faculty. All of our work contributes to making an exceptional academic experience, improving student outcomes, and increasing college ratings. However, we often lack an adequate voice in the pay and benefits and basic protections that would prevent workplace harassment and discrimination and prevent sudden changes to our contracts and work conditions.
