Bridal Stylist and Social Media Assistant
Position type:
Part-time, about 10-15 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to transition into the wedding industry. Possibility of developing into more hours for the right person. At least two Saturdays per month required. Most stylists want to work every Saturday to see the most brides! So be ready to take on more Saturdays!

Bridal Stylist Duties:
-Work one-one-one with brides - get to know the bride and her family, get to know the vision of her wedding day, help the bride select a gown that matches the vision, assist and make clear any custom changes to gowns
-Provide a memorable and exceptional experience for brides
-Assisting the lead bridal stylist throughout bridal appointments
-Keep the store tidy, answer phones, schedule appointments for brides, answer customer questions
-Develop knowledge of bridal fashion styles, trends, designers, fit/alterations
-Develop knowledge of the local wedding industry to best understand a bride's wedding day vision
-Assist with customer pick ups

Social Media Assistant Duties:
-Assist the owner with daily post content
-Take the lead on Instagram stories by creating the content and calendar for posts
-Must be comfortable with modeling gowns and posting about new dresses on Instagram stories

Qualifications Needed:
-Outgoing personality
-Professional attitude and well-groomed appearance
-Good work ethic -- team player, punctual, self-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented
-Excellent interpersonal skills - friendly, polite and positive attitude is essential
-Willingness to be challenged on a daily basis and determined to be successful even in challenging situations
-Ability to make customers feel at home
-Must be able to work weekends - Saturdays between 9:00 am and 6:30 pm at a minimum
-Ability to work independently and as part of a sales team
-Ability to consistently lift 10 pounds above your head
-Minimum 6 months retail or sales experience preferred
-Sales experience preferred

Starts at $9-18/hour. Includes potential for commission pay in addition to hourly rate after 30 day trial period.
