Every year we celebrate the people and companies that have made an impact on the economic landscape of Utah with the EDCUtah Economic Development Awards.

This year we will be handing out the awards on September 11th at our Annual Meeting. Please help us identify who those individuals or companies are by submitting your nomination for one or more of the following categories:

Nick Rose Award for Leadership in Economic Development: This award is given to a private-sector individual that has demonstrated exceptional dedication to EDCUtah, and economic development throughout the state. Previous Award Recipients have included Alan Rindlisbacher of Layton Companies, Derek Miller of the World Trade Center Utah, and Lew Cramer of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors.

Thayne Robson Award for Leadership in Economic Development: This award is given to a public-sector individual that has demonstrated exceptional dedication to EDCUtah, and economic development throughout the state. Previous Award Recipients have included Governor Gary R. Herbert, Mayor John Curtis of Provo City, and Mayor Tom Dolan of Sandy City.

Larry H. and Gail Miller Family Cornerstone in Economic Development: This award is given to associations, organizations, or developments that have merit far beyond their own boundaries and have had profound and long-term positive impact on the state’s economy. Past Award Recipients are Utah Jazz Legacy Trust and City Creek Reserve.
