Teen Connect Youth Advisory Board Membership Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in joining the Teen Connect Youth Advisory Board (YAB)! The YAB is a group of Hillsborough County high school students that aim to make health services more accessible to teens through an online marketing campaign, sexual health blog, and promoting youth-friendly resources in the Tampa Bay area. In partnership with the Ybor Youth Clinic's YAB (@ycab_tampa), meetings are held in the evenings after school, with a hybrid option (in-person and virtual).

Our meetings are currently held on the third Thursday of the month from 5:00-6:30 p.m.  Will you be able to consistently attend meetings? Please describe any existing conflicts that you may have with other after school activities or obligations. *
Ways to Participate in the YAB
There are two ways you can participate in the YAB:

YAB MEMBER: Participate as a YAB member by joining us for monthly meetings. This includes opportunities to earn community service hours for all meetings and project activities, as well as earning points to gain special incentives, and having a position on the board. You will also have the opportunity to participate in volunteer events throughout the school year.

YAB VOLUNTEER: If your schedule does not allow you to consistently attend meetings, but you still want to participate, you can become a YAB volunteer. We’ll keep you looped in on emails and share volunteer opportunities throughout the year, such as helping out at community events, participating in youth focus groups, helping out with projects in between meetings, etc.
