This form is open year-round for students of Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) to submit their innovative ideas.
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and our ecosystem partners will review submissions, mentor selected teams, and support them in building a working Proof of Concept (PoC).
Who can apply: Only current students of VIT Vellore
Before you begin, please ensure you have
- A clear problem statement and your proposed solution
- Details about innovation/novelty and impact
- Team and department details
- Faculty Mentor Details (Optional)
- Current stage of development (Idea / Prototype / PoC)
- Any supporting links
What Students can expect:
- To develop the PoC with help of IIC's Ecosystem [Dedicated Team to help you develop the PoC and utilisation of lab facilities]
- Based on the novelty of the idea, we may help you with patent filling procedure
- Based on the idea, we may help you acquire Product Development Fund provided by EDC VIT
- Students may also start a venture using the Student Startup Venture Fund provided by EDC VIT or opt for Technology Transfer
