Freedom in the Arts - Agents, Artist Managers & Promoters Survey (Confidential)

We are conducting a strictly confidential survey of UK-based agents, artist managers and promoters working across theatre, music and literature.

This project survey is part of a wider initiative project to understand how pressures related to from boycotts, political statements, programming choices are affecting freedom of expression in theatre, music and literature.

This survey is completely confidential .  It will contribute to mapping arts venues across the UK that are committed to the principles of freedom of expression, tolerance, and the protection of artists.

All information will be anonymised and will not be published.

In a time when agents, artist managers and promoters face pressure from many directions, we want to understand which organisations or companies are quietly or openly committed to artistic freedom—without putting anyone at risk. The results of this survey will enable us to form a private network which will not be publicised, enabling shared knowledge and support.

There are 25 questions. Some are multiple choice, some are checkbox and some are for long or short answers. The form will take 10-15 minutes to complete as a minimum, depending on your approach to the long form questions. Seven questions are required and the rest of the questions are optional.

Confidentiality Statement:

All responses to this survey will be treated in strict confidence. No information will be shared publicly or attributed to any individual or organisation without explicit permission. The data collected is for internal use only, to help build a discreet network of individuals and organisations committed to artistic freedom and free expression. We always respect and understand the need to protect your privacy.
