The Golden State's Geography and California's High-Speed Rail
Hello there! My name is Andrew Mancini, and I'm a senior at Sequoia High School in Redwood City, CA.

I have always been interested in transportation, including the future of high-speed rail in California. I designed this survey as part of a research project, independent of the official California High Speed Rail Authority, investigating how California's unique geography and transportation infrastructure will influence the success of the state's planned high-speed rail service. I appreciate your interest and willingness to participate in this survey. Your responses will serve as important data points in my analysis.

This survey includes several sets of questions and should take about 10 minutes total. No prior knowledge of the high-speed rail service is needed to complete this survey. At the end, you will have a chance to learn about the current plans for high-speed rail in California.

Please answer the questions as accurately and honestly as possible — even if the information presented makes you think you would be unlikely to ride high-speed rail — so that the results can provide the best indication of what residents and travelers like you are looking for in the transportation of the future. Thanks for your time!
