REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR WEST COAST AREA *AND* OUT-OF-AREA UNITS. PLEASE REGISTER BELOW.
Please register on the form below. Unit registration only - no individuals or girl-and-parent sign-ups please. Units are responsible for providing green level Safe Guide supervision ratio for their own girl members.
Come join the Girl Guides of Canada - West Coast Area Council for a celebration of International Women's Day and all the amazing challenges that women tackle every day. All ages are welcome, though the event will be most suitable for older girls and those of Brownie age and up.
We will be hosting a fun fair of cool things to explore, from basic displays to elaborate interactive demos. Beyond brochures and trifold boards, we want to get girls trying new skills in hands-on ways. With hundreds of Girl Guide friends, come explore booths from local businesses, professionals, and organizations, who are contributing their time and enthusiasm. Girls will explore the tables/displays at their leisure throughout the afternoon. There will be a variety of activities set up, with interesting people to talk to, demos to try, swag to take home, and more.
Units may register for one of two start times: 1:00pm or 3:00pm - and may arrive at (or after) their registered time to experience our fair. The event will run from 1:00-5:30pm. With your cooperation, these staggered arrivals will help us manage the flow of traffic throughout the day and ensure we can accommodate as many Girl Guides as possible at the event. Girls and their Guiders are welcome to stay for as little or as long as you wish, but approximately 2 hours is the suggested length of your visit.
