The August Home District Blitz is a locally organized distributed blitz in which participants from local groups travel a short distance to nearby Congressional offices. Please note that the August Home District Blitz does NOT take place in Washington DC. The actual date of the visits vary since they are based on availability of local blitz organizers and local Congressional staffers. However, we ask that if possible the visit be held in August, although sometimes visits slip into September.
This year's objectives include Ultra Low Cost Access to Space on fully re-usable launch vehicles, legislation to enable Cis-Lunar Commercialization, and support for planetary defense by funding the JPL NEOCam (Near-Earth Object Camera) telescope.
