Finance Division Summer Internship Application

The Finance Division Summer Internship Program offers an exciting opportunity for students from all academic backgrounds to explore finance within higher education. The opportunity provides hands-on internship experience to develop knowledge and skills in fields such as Accounting Services & Operations, Budgeting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Procurement, Tax, Treasury Services, and Real Estate. The program is ideal for those interested in gaining practical insights into financial operations, regardless of prior finance experience.

Applicants should be self-starters who possess strong communication skills, the ability to thrive as members of a team, and high commitment to the Notre Dame mission. This program is for undergraduate students only.

Internship Details:

-- 8 week program, from June 1 - July 24, 2026
-- Full-time: 40 hours per week, with majority of time spent in assigned functional area(s)
-- One day per week dedicated to learning various departmental responsibilities at a deeper level
-- Internship cohort will collaborate on a team assignment to be presented to leadership 
-- Will include social and network opportunities
-- Paid stipend to be provided and will be discussed during interview process
-- Campus housing provided

The Finance Division is accepting applications on a rolling basis, until 4-6 internship positions are filled. 
The initial interview stage will commence in January or February 2026.
