Hi!!
Here is some brief information about being a Race Cats Elementary Track coach! First, we want to thank you for your interest! We want to let you know that you don't need any experience in running in order to be a coach, but if you do have some, that's great too!
Coaching Information:
- The season will begin Sept 8 and go through Oct 17th (6 weeks).
- We provide a coaches manual and coaches kit that will provide instruction and all the needed gear for each practice. We expect that you follow the manual.
- The season is 6 weeks long, with 2 practices a week-making 10-12 practices total. Each practice is one hour in duration. It is expected that you are able to attend all practices and meets.
- You as coaches get to decide when and what time you are hosting practice each week. (Generally, practices are held at the elementary school and start 10 minutes after the school bell rings. But, that doesn't have to be the case. You can host practices at a park/later in the day. Whenever and wherever works for you!)
- During the season there will be 2 meets (Meet dates/location below)
- Our goal is to have one coach per 12-13 athletes registered on a team. If your team has more then 12-13 athletes, you are welcome to find an assistant coach-or we can help find one for you!!
- Background checks will be done on all those who end up coaching
COMPENSATION:
You will be compensated for your time! Each of your own children doing race cats will be comp'd (up to 3 kids) and at the end of the season Head coaches will get $250 and assistants will get $125

October 1 & 8 @ Nicholls Park in Kaysville
**NOTE: Filling out this form does not mean you will be coaching a Race Cats Team. We will be reaching out to you individually depending on school interest and field & Coaching position availability.
